Subject outline

In this subject students will learn how to identify mental health conditions and some core principles around working with people with such conditions. Students will also learn the general principles of pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and gain knowledge on common drugs used to treat disease, including disorders of the central nervous system. Clinical topics such as adverse drug reactions and drug interactions will also be covered.
