Subject outline
This subject introduces students to fundamental concepts of property law in Australia. This subject involves consideration of the notion of property and of proprietary interests. Students will learn about the concept of property, acquisition and regulation of title to property (including possession), the importance of relativity of title and the creation and enforceability of legal and equitable interests. Students will also receive an introduction to statutory schemes of registration of property interests.

04. Evaluate claims made for property interests using appropriate legal doctrine as it applies to a given fact situation

05. Compose a written legal opinion as it applies to a problem in property law
