This subject positions the field of strategic communication in society. Using the case study method it explores the role of strategic communication in influencing and changing issues affecting society, including globalisation, sustainability, international development, media ownership and medical and health issues.

Prerequisites Must be enrolled in Master of Strategic Communication, Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communication or Graduate Diploma in Strategic Communication or Master of Communication (Public Relations) or Graduate Diploma in Communication (Public Relations).

Special conditions Approval must be obtained from the Program Coordinator. This subject is a core to the Master of Strategic Communication. This subject will be taught in block mode in Sem 2 in the city campus and block mode in Sem 1 off-shore.
