In this subject, students cover issues involved in developing and refining research questions, selecting and developing research designs and analysing of quantitative data relevant to the health sciences. A variety of appropriate designs and analytical techniques, commonly employed in health research, will be examined and critically appraised, with emphasis on the interpretation and discussion of results.
