Subject outline
Students will critically examine conceptual practice models used in occupational therapy and underpinning clinical reasoning processes. Students review occupation-focused models of practice and the thinking behind using theories in practice; evaluate occupation-focused tools and practices; and reflect on contextual issues related to taking an occupational perspective in contemporary practice settings.Students will also have opportunities to work together to develop presentations and written resources to support their own occupation-focused practice.
