Subject outline

In this subject students are provided with the opportunity to gain an internship placement with an organisation and/or community group within the Media and/or Creative Arts. Students gain industry work experience and develop skills in accessing these networked industries from the perspective of an industry-ready future employee and undertake an in-depth experience of work as an emerging professional in the media and related fields. Students develop an understanding of issues internal to the organization such as its goals, structure, management style and work practices. In addition, they acquire an understanding of the organizations relationships to clients, audiences and other elements of the media, communications and persuasive professions.
