Subject outline
Project management may be regarded as a powerful tool to assist in the management of very large projects. The aim of the Project Manager is to bring the project in on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client. This subject explores the role of the Project Manager in initiating, organising, implementing, controlling and terminating the project. On successful completion of the subject, students will understand the processes involved in setting up, managing and successfully concluding major projects of a one-off high-budget type. This subject explores industrial and commercial project ventures and is suitable for students studying business, information technology, engineering and more.
