In this subject students will be introduced to theories ranging from a cognitive, physical, emotional, moral, social and psychological perspective in the context of contemporary classrooms with the intent of understanding how children learn and develop. Lectures and tutorials will aim to apply key psychological principles to educational contexts as a means to demonstrate how an understanding of learning processes and develop can inform teaching practice.
