This subject addresses La Trobe's Global Citizenship Essential. Global Citizenship is about learning to live in an interconnected world, including the social, environmental, political and economic challenges this brings.

Subject outline

Through a series of case studies, and through their own research, students will address current issues and practices in multimedia storytelling. Students are required to tell a single story or explore creative idea to a brief, across three platforms (video, audioand a portfolio of photographic images) in a "web-ready" form. An introduction to basic production techniques in video, audio and digital photography will assist students towards developing skills enabling them operate as autonomous production units.This subject addresses La Trobe's Global Citizenship Essential. Global Citizenship entails an appreciation of how we live in an interconnected world, being able to recognize the global context of concepts, act across cultures and boundaries, and work with diverse communities, now and in the future.
