The design of experiments is a branch of statistics which has many applications, especially in the experimental sciences, psychology and education. Topics include basic concepts in experimental design, randomisation, blocking and replication and the analysis of variance for factorial and repeated measures designs. Extensive use of statistical packages is a feature of this subject.
