Subject outline

In this subject students will develop the knowledge and skills required for evidence-based practice in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Students will develop skills in formulating answerable clinical questions, searching for the available evidence, critical appraisal of the literature and making decisions about clinical practice based on the evidence. The subject is comprised of online learning modules, resources, facilitated discussion board tasks and required readings. Students will complete a written Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) based on a sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy problem that the student has encountered in clinical practice.
