Subject outline
In this subject, students will examine the following topics: (i) the purpose and scope of individual assessment in rehabilitation contexts; basic measurement concepts; impressionistic and behavioural approaches to assessment; and analysis of instruments used to assess rehabilitation clients' vocational behaviour, attitudes, or aptitudes; (ii) the psychology of work; (iii) workers' compensation and models of occupational rehabilitation; psychological factors in return to work following work injury; (iv) the role of the organisational environment in influencing employee health and wellbeing.
