Subject outline
In this subject students will develop cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills that enable them to work at an advanced level within the perioperative environment. Specialist perioperative practice is developed through exposure to the clinical management of complex surgical patients. The theory and clinical practice explored in this subject relates to the highly technical surgical sub-specialities. Consideration is also given to the professional issues facing perioperative practice.
