In this subject students explore the impact of screen and sound texts on film spectators, television viewers, and online browsers. You will draw on key concepts from spectatorship theory to explore identification, empathy, affect, projection and embodiment in different screen and sound environments. You will undertake individual research projects and group presentations to develop conceptual thinking and teamwork.
