Social Media and Relationship Marketing is one of the most important issues facing marketing today. This subject covers the evolution of communication on marketing strategy in a new landscape where traditional and digital media coexist. Advertising spend on traditional media has declined. Marketing budgets are increasingly being spent online in addition to unpaid media. These developments present significant challenges to marketers in achieving strategic outcomes. The subject covers topics including: - The interaction between traditional and social media - Social media platforms (including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus+, etc.) - Consumer behaviour in social media - Implementation, analytics and ROI for social media
