Subject outline

This subject explores the changing nature of employment relationships in the context of internationalisation and globalisation. Using comparative employment relations methodology we explore labour market developments, international trade unionism, the role of international institutions, recent developments in international business and the changing nature of work. We compare employment relations structures and processes in a range of countries including from Europe and Asia. We also explore developments in particular industries that have an international focus.
