Subject outline
In this subject students will examine the impact of advanced information technologies on the management of change in health information services and health information and communications technology (ICT) services. They will address professional issues, strategic planning, budget preparation and management, staffing practices and workplace legislation specific to the management of health data and information. This subject draws together all components of the course, enabling students to develop an overview of health information management practice, and providing them the opportunity to synthesise critical and emerging technological, management, legislative, clinical and policy developments.
