This subject is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required of the contemporary financial planning professional. The focus of the subject will be in the examination and application of a range of advanced practical strategies that are utilised within the work environment. This subject is focused on extending and applying knowledge and skills introduced in other related subjects, such as Introduction to Financial Planning, Taxation and Superannuation and Retirement. Planning to solve practical problems presented via a case study methodology. In addition to their financial planning knowledge, students will be introduced to a range of skills essential to the role of financial planner, including interviewing, presentation, and relationship building skills.
