Subject outline
In this subject students develop a theoretical understanding of human motor and learning performance. Through a series of lectures and laboratory classes the processes involved in acquiring motor skills are investigated together with the factors influencing such learning. This knowledge is integrated into a teaching context utilizing badminton as a medium of instruction. Concepts such as error detection and correction, mental practice, instructional feedback and types of practice are investigated.
