Sustainability and Globalisation are concepts frequently invoked by the media, politicians and business leaders. This subject critically examines the notions of sustainability and globalisation and considers the implications they have for individuals, businesses and governments. The subject will provide students with an understanding of the nature of markets, governments and social institutions, with a particular focus on how these entities influence sustainable resource use in a global economy.
