DEN5CDP

2014

Credit points: 90

Subject outline

In this subject, running throughout the entire year, students will undertake a full range of treatments for their patients. Building upon their previous clinical experience, the level of complexity will be appropriate to final-year students. Clinical experience will be gained at public dental clinics in Bendigo, Mildura, Melton and Wodonga. In addition to time spent actually treating patients, students will have the opportunity to observe specialist practitioners at work, to participate in school-based preventive programs, along with assisting other students. At the end of the year, students will be required to provide evidence that they are competent and safe in the provision of care over a broad range of areas enabling them to graduate as Dental Practitioners.
