Subject outline

This subject is split into two components. 1. A series of one day or half-day seminars will increase the students' knowledge base in each specialty area within dentistry - periodontics, endodontics, oral medicine, oral surgery, removal prosthodontics, paedodontics, orthodontics, extraoral radiography, special needs. 2. One 'Back to Base Week Conference' will be held in the first half of the year at the Bundoora campus to focus on an interdisciplinary approach to treatment planning and patient management. In addition, specifc clinical topics within each discipline will be discussed. Each discipline within dentistry will be represented by a mixture of speakers from both teaching staff and invited guest speakers.
