Subject outline
This unit, through a series of lead lectures, introduces the relevance of climate change to global, regional and local infrastructure existing and proposed. Climate global drivers, meteorology, data access and retrieval will be presented to the master students through LMS modules. This self-directed learning and testing is complemented with a field excursion to a weather station. The unit is concluded with a debate on "Global Warming" and an assignment on the implications of climate change on global, regional and local infrastructure.
