Focus Groups
What is a focus group?
Focus groups are facilitated small group discussions on specific issues or topics. A group of 10-15 students will be asked a series of questions and invited to discuss their views and opinions and are encouraged to suggest solutions to identified problems. Focus groups are a valuable way for the university to gain qualitative feedback and to get a more personal take on solutions.
As La Trobe University seeks to improve services, facilities and opportunities for students, focus groups will be held from time to time to augment other forms of feedback. Reports on focus groups will be made available on this page.
