Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE)
Did you know….?
- That first year students in the Faculty of Education receive the highest grades?
- That students become more engaged in university study between first and third years, although third-year students feel less supported by staff?
- That participation in key developmental activities such as internships, student exchange, community service or study groups is low, but students who do get involved have higher grades and go on to better employment outcomes?
- That students say they are more satisfied, perform better academically and are less likely to drop out when high standards are set and they are provided with integrated support to help them succeed?
Why does this matter? Because your success matters!
Over July and August, La Trobe University will be participating in the Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE). This survey helps us to understand more about they way you prefer to learn, what motivates you to learn well, and what we need to do to help you achieve success.
The survey will target first and third year students across all La Trobe University and teaching staff will also be surveyed.
Don’t take a back seat to your education. Help La Trobe University plan for a better, brighter future for you. And you could win a $250 JB Hi Fi Voucher just by completing the survey!
Look out for the invitation to the AUSSE Survey in your student email or in the post between July 27 and August 31.
