Username & Password
Your La Trobe username and password are on your ‘Statement of Account’. They control access to:
- Student email (you will be notified of important information about your studies via student email)
- StudentOnLine (access to your enrolment details, change your address and more)
- Learning Management System (LMS) (online learning tool for students)
- Computer / wireless access on campus
- Borrowing and other facilities in the Library
- OASIS and WebTimetabler (online timetabling systems)
- Career Hub
Learning Management System
La Trobe University’s Learning Management System (LMS) is Moodle. Your lecturer will indicate if you will be using this system. Valuable student information including what you should do if you are unable to log in to the Learning Management System is available at on the website.
StudentOnLine
StudentOnLine controls all your La Trobe enrolment and notification details. It enables you to vary your enrolment, check results and change postal and email notification details.

Library Systems
Your La Trobe Student Account allows you to:
- Access online library resources
- View and renew loans
- Make bookings
- Place a hold on library material

La Trobe University uses your student email as the primary method of contact with students for academic and administrative matters. Your student email address is: username@students.latrobe.edu.au and your email can be accessed online.
For new students, your student ID can be found on your statement of account. Follow the instructions to set up your login credentials.
Plagiarism Software (Turnitin)
Turnitin is software used at La Trobe University to deter plagiarism. Your lecturer will indicate whether you will be using this system. The website also has valuable links to information on academic honesty and avoiding plagiarism.
Wireless Computer Access
Wireless computer access is available at various locations throughout La Trobe University.

OASIS
OASIS is an online tutorial signup system. Your lecturer will indicate if you will be required to use this system. The site also has valuable student information including what to do if you are unable to log in to the OASIS system.
