Frequently asked questions

What if I want to accept a later offer to a different course?

Enrolling in a course offered in an early round does not prevent you from accepting a later round offer. You just need to remember to discontinue your previous enrolment. Otherwise you’ll be paying fees for two courses.

To discontinue from your course, you must fill in a Letter of Discontinuation (available in [PDF 551KB] or [DOC 39KB]) and submit this to your local Student Administration Office with your Student Card. You do not need to attend the campus in person, you can mail the form to any address on the form.

What if I’m having trouble understanding my letter of offer?

For any questions about your enrolment call the University on 1800 774 452. International students call (+61 3) 9479 1199.

How do I reject my offer?

If you do not wish to accept your offer for any reason you simply do not enrol; your offer will then lapse. However, please contact us on 1800 774 452 for guidance and information on pathway options. We are always here to help!

If you have already enrolled in a course and wish to discontinue your enrolment, you must complete a discontinuation form. See the discontinuation of enrolment page for details.

When do I find out more about my course?

On enrolment day you will be provided with full information about your course and the way it is structured. In the meantime, see your course guide or check out the University Handbook. If your question cannot wait, contact your faculty directly.
