Arranging in-class ALLU support
We have been developing collaborative projects with teaching staff to embed academic skills within subjects. We are committed to this process as it is recognised as the most likely way in which students will pay attention to the development of their academic literacy.
We understand that the needs of the curriculum dictate the topics covered in-class. That said, we also know that teaching academic skills in-class increases the likelihood of better performance by the students.
Please talk to the ALL Unit staff in your faculty or at your campus to organise in-class skills sessions.
Working with us on assessment design
We have extensive experience in developing students' academic abilities, which means we understand the issues that can cause confusion and problems in setting assessment.
A short discussion with a member of the ALLU staff can assist in setting assessments which reduce subsequent student enquiries. To find out more, talk to the ALL Unit staff in your faculty or at your campus.
