Peer Learning Advisers (PLAs)

Peer Learning Advisers (PLAs) are experienced students who can help you get on top of your study. PLAs are very friendly and come from many disciplines; e.g. health sciences, business or education.PLAs are located in all of the University's library locations. You can access this service by dropping into your campus's library.

Drop-in to see us; we can help you with

  • assignment and thesis writing
  • learning skills such as time-management, giving presentations
  • some maths and statistics (limited times available)

Weeks 2-3: Monday-Friday, 11.00am-2.00pm

Weeks 4-12: Monday-Thursday, 10.00am-3.00pm


Weeks 1-3: Monday – Friday, 11.00am-2.00pm

Weeks 4-12: Monday – Friday 10.00am -3.00pm


Weeks 1-13: Monday -Thursday, 10.00am-4.00pm and Fridays 12.00-2.00pm

Multi-disciplinary undergraduate “Shut up and write" workshop: Wednesdays, 5.00pm-6.30pm
