Penalties

The penalties for plagiarism and cheating can include:

  • educational corrective action
  • academic counselling
  • reprimands
  • requests to resubmit work
  • warnings
  • a reduced mark for work
  • a zero mark for the work, subject or examination.

For Higher Degree by Research students: appropriate penalties as above plus possible period of suspension.
