About the School
Want to Study Law?
La Trobe Law School offers the Bachelor of Laws (the LLB) to school leavers and graduates of other disciplines at our Melbourne campus. Our LLB will give you the academic qualification necessary to obtain admission as a lawyer. Find out more about how to become a lawyer.
You can choose to study law alone or as a double degree (a great choice if you want to expand your employment options). Find out more about both the single degree and the double degrees.
If you are already studying another discipline at La Trobe you might want to consider transferring into law or combining law with your existing degree. Find out how by reading our transfer of courses policy.
For regional students, we also offer the first two years of our LLB at the Bendigo campus. Please be aware that students who aspire to be admitted to the legal profession are required by Admission Rules to spend at least three calendar years studying law.
