NVivo
NVivo is a qualitative data analysis software package produced by QSR International. It allows you to collect, organise and analyse content from interviews, focus group discussions, surveys and audio.
There is a current site license at La Trobe covering all students and staff.
Conditions of use
The software may be used only while the user is an eligible member of La Trobe University. The licence to use the software under this agreement will terminate when you are no longer a staff member or student of the University.
The software may be used "at the site or at their principal residence". However, use of the software at the principal residence is "limited to use related to course work, research or other work directly related to the users relationship with the University".
The software must not be "copied or downloaded on to any non-eligible user’s personal system for personal use".

Can be operated on an Intel-based Mac computer using one of the following software products: 1. Apple Boot Camp (Boot Camp is included in the latest Mac OS X version 10.6, Snow Leopard) These applications allow users to install Windows on a Mac and switch between both Mac and Windows operating systems. Once Windows has been installed, you will then be able to install NVivo. |
