Tutorials and timetabling

Tutorials

You can book tutorials for your subjects via the LMS. Go to the relevant subject folder to view and select times.

If the subject folder is not listed in the LMS you need to ensure you are enrolled in the subject by checking Student OnLine.

Subjects will be listed in the LMS one week prior to the semester commencing. Please allow two days after enrolling in the subject for the system to update. If you have enrolled correctly in StudentOnLine and still cannot see your subject in the LMS, you will need to email: elearning.huss@latrobe.edu.au

Note: If you have any queries regarding the subject please contact the subject coordinator directly. Tutorials are normally chosen the week before classes commence, or the first week of classes.

Having trouble enrolling in a tutorial?

  • Confirm you are enrolled in the subject on StudentOnLine. You cannot enrol in a tutorial unless you are enrolled in the subject officially. Make sure your subjects are enrolled, and not just planned.

Timetabling

You should check your lecture times in Timetables before signing up for your tutorials via the LMS.

Having trouble organising your timetable?

  • If you are in first year you can contact your Connect Mentor. You will receive the details of your mentor during Orientation week or the first week of class. Check your La Trobe student email account for up-to-date information.
  • Speak to the Student Learning Advisors in the Library.
  • If your chosen tutorial is full please contact the Program Office.

Having trouble with subject clashes?

  • Contact the Program Office to discuss the possibility of moving your tutorials.

Note: The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Student Administration office cannot help you with timetabling issues. Please contact the Program Office/subject coordinator directly.
