Overload
Studying more than four subjects a semester is considered an overload.
Students are not automatically approved to overload and need to be assessed by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Student Administration Office.
Generally students must have completed a normal fulltime load in their previous semester with a 65% average or better for the overload to be approved.
Students in the last semester of their degree with 75 credit points remaining are not required to have met the 65% average to be eligible to take an overload to finish their degree.
Overloads are assessed/approved via a Variation of Enrolment form process.
First year students are not eligible for overload.
