Sanctions
A sanction is a penalty recorded against your enrolment. There are two types of sanctions:
- Academic – for unsatisfactory academic progress.
- Administrative – for failure to comply with certain administrative requirements (e.g. non-payment of fees).
You can view details about sanctions when you log in to StudentOnLine. View your sanction under the Finance tab.
If you have an academic sanction:
- You will need to contact the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Student Administration Office. Staff will be able to provide assistance and advice on how to have your sanction removed.
If you have an administrative sanction:
- Library fine – please go to the Library to pay the fine.
- Tuition fees – please go to the Student Hub to pay outstanding fees.
- Student Amenities fees – please go to the Student Hub to pay outstanding fees.
After paying outstanding fees, please allow 24 hours before attempting to access StudentOnLine. If you need to re-enrol please ensure outstanding fees are paid at least one week prior to re-enrolment deadline.
