Transfer into course
Transfer within La Trobe University
If you would like to transfer from one course to another you will need to contact the faculty which administers the course.
For a list of courses administered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences please refer to the University Handbook.
If you want to transfer to a course administered by another faculty you should contact the relevant faculty for deadline dates and submission requirements.
Study at another university
If you want to study at another university, you will need to contact that university directly.
If you do study at another university and no longer wish to study at La Trobe University, please make sure that you formally discontinue your enrolment by the relevant census date. Please complete the Discontinuation of Enrolment form [PDF 1.12 MB] and submit to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science Administration Office.
International students
If you are an international student you will need to have your transfer application form approved by the La Trobe International Office before it can be submitted at the Faculty.
Domestic students
If you are a domestic student you will need to complete a new HECS form with the details of the new course you wish to undertake with your Application for Course Transfer form [PDF 2.60 MB].
