Work integrated learning

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is about placing students in a workplace in order to apply what they have learned at university into the workplace.

The following subjects offer WIL:

  • LST3LWC – Legal Studies Workplace Competence, offered in the Bachelor of Legal Studies.
  • POL3PCW – Professional Competence - Transition to the Workplace, offered in the Bachelor of International Relations.
  • JRN3SJI – Sport Journalism Internship, offered in the Bachelor of Journalism (Sport).
  • MST3INT – Professional Internship, offered in the Bachelor of Strategic Communication, Bachelor of Media, Bachelor of Journalism, and Bachelor of Arts major in Strategic Communication.
  • JRN3AAP – Strategic Communication Agency, offered in the Bachelor of Strategic Communication (offered in 2014).
  • PLA3PPB – Planning Practice B, offered in the Bachelor of Urban, Rural and Environmental Planning.
  • PLA3CDI - Community Development Internship, offered in the Bachelor of Community Development (offered in 2014).

If you are undertaking the Bachelor of Arts, why not consider registering for the Work Ready BA program? You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of programs including work experience. The program is designed to help you put your academic knowledge into practice, learn new skills and engage with your local community.
