Study overseas
Have you thought about studying overseas as part of your degree? Are you keen to broaden your horizons and gain an understanding of different cultures? Do you want to learn more about your discipline in other countries? There are different opportunities in each discipline and the Faculty of Health Sciences encourages
you to explore your options.
Studying overseas can be a life-changing and enriching experience that will provide you with many exciting challenges. Best of all, there is the potential to gain credit toward your degree while visiting another country.
Options include:
- a short term program of 1 -5 weeks through the university or through outside organisations
- a clinical placement overseas
- volunteering overseas
- a full semester exchange program with one of our partner institutions is possible in some instances
Where do I start?
Firstly, talk to your Academic Contact for Outbound Mobility (see below) to discuss the options in your discipline: which semester (s) is most suitable for exchange, what type of international experience works best in your course and what programs are already established in your discipline.
