Volunteer Wanted: Occupational Therapy Student

I have a son whose name is George Kavouras and is aged 12, wheelchair bound and has severe disabilities.

He attends school at St Pauls College in Kew and am looking to extend him by attending a specialised gym program at the Balwyn YMCA.

He has a carer from the local council who will be attending with him although I am looking for a student OT on a volunteer basis who is able to attend every Saturday for an hour.  I am happy to pay for travel.

If you are able to assist in this regard, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you in anticipation of your assistance,

Joanne Kavouras

This is a full-time, sole Occupational Therapy position working with clients from across the communities of the Ngaanyatjarra Lands but mainly within the 4 hub communities of Warburton, Wanarn, Warakurna and Blackstone.

OT services focus on maintaining or enhancing independence and quality of life of children and adults that have a disability or are frail elders.
