Ceremony timetable

  • Leave handbags and other valuables with your guests during the ceremony
  • Try to arrive earlier to get your photographs before the ceremony
Time Details
12.15 pm - 1:30 pm Register at the Gown Room for your seat number, name card and academic regalia.
1.30 pm Doors to the Hall open. Guests should arrive early for best seating options.
1.55 pm Graduands assemble at marshaling area for a briefing.
2.00 pm Guests must be seated by this time.
2.15 pm The ceremony begins.
3.00 pm Academic procession and graduands leave the hall and go to Function Room 2 for light refreshments. Graduands who hired academic dress need to return it to the gown room before leaving the venue.

Location and parking

Eastbank Centre, 70 Welsford Street, Shepparton. Parking is behind the Centre.

Academic Regalia

Your academic regalia will be available for collection two hours (12:15pm) before the ceremony.

You must return your regalia by 4:30pm.

Post-graduation event

The Shepparton Students’ Association would like to invite you, along with a guest, to post-graduation drinks and refreshments to celebrate your achievement.

The Centre is accessible to people using wheelchairs and walking frames or with problems climbing stairs. Ushers will help you.

If you cannot attend

You must contact Assessments and Graduations if you cannot attend. You will graduate 'in absentia' or you can defer your graduation to a later ceremony.

To postpone, ask a question up until the day before the ceremony. Please include your name, Student ID and course name in the request.
