Student Ambassadors Program
Our student ambassadors are high achievers, leaders among their peers, enthusiastic and passionate about La Trobe University. They are friendly, approachable and always willing to share their story and experiences. They are genuinely committed to helping future students reach their own career goals.
Working alongside future student advisors, student ambassadors are involved in a range of recruitment and promotional activities. They represent La Trobe at career expos, visit secondary schools and conduct our campus tour program.
All student ambassadors receive comprehensive training to further develop their public speaking, communication, team participation and organisational skills. Further leadership and professional development opportunities are also made available to students in the program.

How can I become a student ambassador?
National Recruitment employs approximately 45 student ambassadors each year from a variety of different study areas and backgrounds. Student ambassadors are called on to represent La Trobe at school visits, career expos as well as assist with various on-campus events. Ambassadors are recruited in March each year.
Interested students should apply via email to ambassador@latrobe.edu.au. Students are then required to attend an interview and complete appropriate paperwork as part of this process. Student ambassadors are essentially the face of La Trobe and required to have a working knowledge of their study area, campuses and facilities available to students.
