Your say does count and does have an impact!
La Trobe University is committed to ensuring students have a high quality learning experience and access to opportunities that enhance their skills, knowledge and lifestyle. As the University and the sector nationally prepares for change, we need to understand both who our students are, and how we need to equip them for the future.
To do this effectively, the University will seek feedback and input from students through a variety of ways - most commonly through surveys and focus groups. Your involvement in these processes is highly valued, and what you have to say has the capacity to make a very real impact on how the University delivers its teaching and services.
Australasian Universities Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE)
Student life has changed dramatically over the years. Long gone is the free education, tutes at the pub and lecturers with long sideburns and leather elbow patches on tweed jackets (well, nearly long gone…). So how does a University adapt to the changes and expectations of its students? By getting to know our students a little better…
Australian Graduate Survey
Knowing where our graduates end up after their studies, and what they thought of their experience while they were here is valuable information for La Trobe. You will receive an invitation to the Australian Graduate Survey (which includes the Graduate Destination Survey and Course Experience Questionnaire) a few months after you complete your studies. We appreciate the time you take to respond to this valuable survey.
Student Services Satisfaction Survey
It is important to La Trobe to ensure that the services we provide across all campuses are the services students need, and that they perform to a high standard. Regular satisfaction surveys help us to maintain quality and make improvements where possible. By benchmarking with similar Universities, La Trobe is confident we are performing well in offering students support, resources and programs that allow for a successful student experience.
