Volunteering Opportunities - Community Engagement - Regional Areas

Various organisations are seeking your support NOW!  Browse our Volunteer Opportunities page for further details.   You will need your student username and password to access this site.

The list below provides examples of community organisations that require volunteers on a casual or long-term basis.

Students are also welcome to select and volunteer for a not-for-profit organisation that is currently not listed.

Contacting Volunteering Organisations

It is your responsibility to contact the organisation of your choice.

Victoria’s Volunteering Portal can provide you with valuable information on how to approach and make contact with external volunteering organisations.

Go Volunteer also provides valuable information on your rights and responsibilities as a volunteer.

Volunteer Organisations and Additional Requirements

Some organisations have additional requirements, which may include an interview, Police Checks, Working with Children Checks or induction training*.
It is your responsibility to check what further requirements are necessary to fulfil your volunteering task.

*Any induction training you complete (i.e. volunteer training you complete for your organisation for example) can be counted towards your total volunteering hours.
