Re-enrolment
Re-enrolment for 2012
To avoid a late re-enrolment fee and to ensure you retain your place in the course, you must re-enrol for the entire 2012 academic year. Re-enrolment for 2012 via StudentOnLine will re-open on 15 December, 2011, after the official release of results.
For assistance re-enrolling in StudentOnLine please read the following documents:
Who should re-enrol?
All eligible students* are required to re-enrol online via StudentOnLine, including those who:
- anticipate that their academic progress may be unsatisfactory in the current year;
- will complete their course at mid-year in 2012 (you must re-enrol for Semester 1)
- have approved Leave of Absence (intermission) ending in Semester 1 2012 (you should still enrol for Semester 2)
- who are applying to transfer to another course within La Trobe University (see Course Transfer)
You do not need to re-enrol for 2012 if you -
- will complete your course at the end of 2011
- are on approved Leave of Absence for all of 2012
Note that:
- Graduate School of Management students must read the school’s re-enrolment information
- Professional doctorate students must re-enrol and should contact their course administrator for instructions
- Other higher degree by research students do not need to re-enrol
International Students
International students are required to be fully enrolled according to their eCOE at all times. For more information, refer to www.latrobe.edu.au/international/life/compliance
Subject selection
When re-enrolling, assume that you will pass all your current subjects. If you fail a pre- or co-requisite subject, you will be able to change your enrolment later.
If you need advice on choosing subjects, contact your faculty or check the University Handbook.
Returning from Leave of Absence (Intermission)
Re-enrol for the full 2012 academic year. If you are returning in Semester 2, 2012 you must enrol in Semester 2 subjects. Your enrolment status will be 'Leave of Absence' until your new subjects start.
Course Transfer
Re-enrol in your current course and then lodge an Application for Course Transfer form with the faculty for your new course. Check cut-off dates with the faculty for your new course.
