Career Ready is a program designed to help you:

• work out what to do with your degree;
• learn how to find and secure employment; and
• manage your career throughout your lifetime.

We strongly encourage all students to complete this program at some stage during your time at La Trobe. You can work through one or two modules each year, or complete the whole program in your final or penultimate year.

To complete the program, you can attend one of the many faculty- or campus-based programs that will be on offer throughout 2013. Career Ready will consist of a series of 6 seminars, plus online content available through the LMS. If you cannot attend a program on campus, you can complete the program online.

The program consists of five modules, each taking between two and four hours to complete. The modules are:

1. What can I do with my degree?
2. Developing my skills
3. Best ways to find a job
4. Succeeding at job applications and interviews
5. Next steps after I graduate
