Career planning process

Good career management skills can help you to make informed decisions. Career planning is not just about making a decision about ‘what you are going to be when you grow up’. It is a life-long process which involves awareness of yourself and your opportunities, being able to make a decision, and learning how to make the transition to the next phase of your career.

Career Ready Program

Career Ready is a program designed to help you: work out what to do with your degree; learn how to find and secure employment; and manage your career throughout your lifetime.

Career planning subjects

Career Development Centre now teaches a career planning subject ‘Work Ready Skills and Planning Your Career’ – HUM2WRS. This is a second year subject that is taught online through the LMS. It is available to any undergraduate student.
