After I report my lost or stolen card how long will it take to get a new one?
You can get a new card during business hours from your local Student Administration Office. If you prefer to see if your lost card turns up, you can get a one-month temporary slip. You will only be allowed one temporary slip per life of card.
How much are replacement cards? What if I lose my card a second time?
$20 for each replacement.
Can I get a new card with an updated photograph on it?
Yes. It will cost $20.
How can I borrow from the library if I don’t have a card?
You can use your one-month temporary slip to borrow from the library until you have a new card.
If I lose my card during the weekend or holidays and I need to borrow books from the library what do I do?
The library may hold the books for you, for up to 24 hours.

Can I use my card at other La Trobe campuses?
Yes.
Can I use my card to buy a bus, tram or train ticket?
No. You need a concession card and you may need to show your student ID card as well.
