How satisfied are you with your La Trobe experience?
All students from Australian universities will receive the Australian Graduate Survey approximately four months after the completion of their studies.
The survey includes a section which provides you with an opportunity to tell us about your employment or further study, and Course Experience Questionnaire, which is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on your academic experience.
La Trobe Graduates in 2008: Work, study, Salaries and Course Satisfaction. (Key points):
- Of Bachelor degree graduates who were available for full-time employment in 2008 84.4 percent were in full-time employment within four months of completing their degrees (down from 88.2 per cent last year).
- The median annual starting salary for new Australian resident bachelor degree graduates aged less than 25 and in their first full-time employment in Australia was $43 000 ($41 500 in 2007).
- Males started work on a median salary of $43 000 (up from $40 830 in 2007) and females earned $43 000 (up from $41 700 in 2007).
- Overall satisfaction with courses measured by the Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ) remains at a high level, with 89.3 per cent of graduates expressing broad satisfaction with their courses.
