My Profile Settings
In addition to including a description and photo of yourself, My Profile also includes settings relating to emails.
- Email Display: You can choose to allow everyone to see my email address; Hide my email address from everyone or Allow only other subject members to see my email address.
- Email format: You can choose to have emails sent from the LMS in Plain Text Format or Pretty HTML Format. Pretty HTML format will include images but will be slightly larger in size than the plain text format.
- Forum auto‐subscribe: If you select yes for this it will mean that when you post a message to a forum, you will be subscribed to that forum and receive email copies of all messages for that forum. You may unsubscribe from forums if you wish as well.
- Email digest type: You may choose to receive all emails from the LMS in one daily message. There is also the option to receive either the complete message or just the Subjects from forums you subscribe to.
- Forum tracking: This is a useful option to enable and it will highlight unread forum messages so you can easily see what is new.
My profile settings / Messaging
LMS Users have the ability to configure notification methods for incoming messages.
From the Settings Block select My profile settings and then select Messaging.
