Getting Help with the LMS
Where can I obtain assistance with the LMS?
For Academic Assistance (for example if you have a question about your subject or an assignment) you should contact your lecturer or tutor. Contact details for staff members is available from the individual faculty web pages at http://www.latrobe.edu.au/faculties.
If you require assistance accessing or using the LMS, in the first instance check Student Help – Learning Management System at http://www.latrobe.edu.au/studentlmsinfo for information on getting started, accessing the LMS, submitting assignments, joining discussion forums and more.
For all other assistance, or if you’re having difficulty with something in LMS, for instance if you're trying to upload an assignment, you can contact Student IT Support.
Be prepared to supply the following information:
- Your Student Number and Username (from your Statement of Account)
- Your subject title and code (i.e. BIO2CES Excitable Cells and Endocrine Systems)
- The name of your lecturer
- Which browser and browser version you are using (i.e. Internet Explorer Version 7.0)
- Your location when you experience problems (at home, the workplace)
- If you're at home, the name of your Internet Service Provider
- The exact text of any error messages
